Thomas Disch (Feb. 2, 1940 - July 4, 2008) We mourn the passing of author Thomas M. Disch, who died Friday. Disch helped forge the New Wave of science fiction with such novels as Camp Concentration and 334. He was also a noted poet and critic, and his nonfiction work The Dreams Our Stuff Is Made Of won a Hugo Award in 1999. Disch was 68.
